Tuesday, January 10, 2023

The last 18 hours have been busy at station 14.  First a crew of 5 took Squad 14 to a drill at an acquired structure with station 20.  The crew left there at 2105 and worked with 14-1 and multiple other units on an MVA with confinement on the Route 15 north bridge over Foy Ave.  Then this morning units responded at 0817 to the 1900 block of Sweeley Ave. in the township for a porch fire that was extinguished by the occupant.  Lastly at 0852 units responded to the 1800 block of Marshall Ave for a CO alarm activation.  This was a battery issue with the alarm and no CO was detected.  During this time every staffed and volunteer unit in the station was utilized at one point, with Fire, EMS and Fire Police all being pressed into service.
