The late Chief Allan Brunacini of The Phoenix Fire Department once said of Fire Departments; "We are an EMS Department that occasionally fights fires". That is true more than ever in these times of COVID. Not just this week, but every day of the year we honor the EMSVO's, EMR's, EMT's, Paramedics and all our EMS professionals that respond to our most frequent and important of all our calls for service. They rise to the challenges that rarely make headlines, but are the most important to those in need. These Pre-hospital professionals truly make our moto "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" work for all.
