This past Monday night, crews drilled for a scenario that we hope never to face, a firefighter down in cardiac arrest. Reviewing training videos and doing hands on stations, crews practiced the rapid removal of protective equipment with minimal interruptions of CPR and rapid defibrillation. These drills are becoming a regular part of our training schedule.
