2019 Fire Company Awards Banquet

HONORING AND CELEBRATING A LIFE OF SERVICE AND COMMITMENT TO THE OLD LYCOMING TOWNSHIP VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY - Former township Fire Chief Paul Stroble Jr. received not one, but two standing ovations at Saturday night's annual fire company awards banquet that was held at the William Dauber firehouse on Dewey Avenue.
The first standing ovation came when Stroble received his 55-year service pin.
The second one was when the fire company awarded him with the Medal of Honor.
As noted in the award proclamation he received, "he played a significant role in transforming the fire company into a modern and progressive" fire department
